Is there a working estate registry system in Romania?

In general the installed system is working fine, but the background of the investment should be scanned carefully. E.g. expropriation from communist time is sometimes still not 100% clarified. Also the duty of public notaries is quiet different from the rest of Europe and the involvement of a public notary cannot guarantee, that all is done in a proper way.
